my friend's wedding

May hang-over pa ko ng kilig sa wedding ng aking friend na si Abi. Solemn yung wedding kasi hindi magulo, wala akong masyadong stress na naramdaman sa paligid. Cool ang lahat ng tao lalo na ang bride. Sya lang so far ang nakita kong bride na walang ka-stress stress sa katawan sa mismong wedding day. Well, even on the preparations di ko rin na-feel ang stress nya.

Their wedding ceremony was held on Our Lady of Fatima Church in Kawit, Cavite. Very unique church structure. First time kong nakakita ng simbahan na open ang altar. Kaya pala on our way to the church tinanong ni father of the bride sa amen kung nakarating na daw ba kami dun sa church before o first time lang kasi nung nakita daw nya yung church hindi lang daw si Abi ang na-in love pati daw sya. No wonder why nung nakita na namen.

  

At ito talaga ang eksenang nakakakilig..."you may kiss the bride".. but what fascinated me more was when the water on the altar came out the moment they kiss..small falls ang peg..(if you can see it on the picture above)..lalo naman akong kinilig ayiiiieeee....

Umeksena din ako. Im one of the bridesmaids (na naman). Second bridesmaid stint ko na to this year, two more to go. In the picture above, me, my friend and her daughter. Sya si Cathy, yung friend ko na ikinasal sa Bohol last April, naiblog ko rin yung wedding nya sa Bohol Plaza Hotel. By the way Abi and Cathy were my friends from the bank where we used to work some years ago. Even though we were apart from the bank and have our own lives we still manage to see each other whenever we find time. Abi is working abroad, Cathy is now a plain housewife and I am trying my luck as an entrepreneur.

And the reception followed at Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park, also in Kawit. A five-minute drive from the church.

  

This wedding was indeed one of my favorite among I've attended. Solemn. Relaxed. Happiness of the couple and the people around them was very obvious.

Tandaan nyo lang para tumagal kayo kapag mainit ang ulo ng isa dapat tumahimik ang isa. Hindi kayo pwedeng magsalubong. Dahil pag nagsalubong kayo hindi talaga kayo magtatagal. Give and take lang yan. -a message from the father of the bride
